The focus of the performances of IDEE DES NORDENS is on "playing" - an activity which is shared by musicians, actors and maybe artists. I.D.N. play live in a sandbox and by doing so create images which are in accordance with their music which is to be heard simultaniously. The perspective is broken for several times: The action inside of the sandbox is projected with a video-beamer on a big screen in fromt of the audience. According to the characteristics of the place of performance the audience can watch the actors directly,or they are invisible but still very close. A play with reality and projection, distance and closeness.
