INFO
…right thing by launching "Aspirin i Serpantin,"
the solo album by DJ Oleg Kostrow, a member of electronic
group "Nozh dlya Frau Muller". This music is just
the thing to lift the spirits and give a holiday feel to an
otherwise dull summer evening in an empty city. The album is
a compilation of music from performances of "Faust"
and "The Snow Queen," and also new tracks from Kostrow.
The album begins with selected music from "Faust,"
which caused a stir when it came out in Moscow in autumn 2001.
The second part of the album is several tracks from "The
Snow Queen," put on at the Royal Albert Hall in London
in 1999. Kostrow called these tracks the "longest and
most danceable," and in keeping with the album's "joyous
and life-affirming" mood.
